Verdant 隱私權政策
Verdant（以下稱「本 App」、「我們」）由獨立開發者開發與營運，是一款以本機為優先（local-first）的 iPhone 補充品與營養素追蹤工具。本政策說明你使用 Verdant 時，資料如何被處理。
1. 我們在 App 中處理的資料
你可以在裝置上建立或儲存補充品、品牌、劑型、份量、營養素、備註、每日攝取紀錄、時間、提醒設定，以及由這些紀錄產生的摘要與趨勢。這些資料主要保存在你的裝置上，供 App 提供追蹤、提醒、檢視與匯出功能。
2. Scan Label、相機與照片
只有在你主動選擇 Scan Label 並選擇相機或 Photos Picker 照片時，App 才會取得該次掃描輸入。影像與原始 OCR 文字會在掃描處理期間暫存於記憶體，用於裝置端文字辨識與條碼／標籤解析；不會保存到 Core Data、UserDefaults、分析紀錄或伺服器，也不會上傳至託管 AI 服務。
解析結果必須由你檢閱、編輯並確認後，才會成為你選擇儲存的補充品資料。你可以拒絕相機權限，或改用手動輸入；拒絕不會影響其他功能。
這與手動新增補充品時你主動選擇並在儲存時附加的補充品圖片不同：該圖片會作為補充品資料的一部分保存在裝置本機，直到你移除或替換圖片、刪除該補充品，或刪除 App。
3. 條碼／UPC 與 NIH DSLD 查詢
如果你主動使用條碼掃描與資料預填，Verdant 會將掃描到的條碼／UPC 傳送至 NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database（DSLD）相關服務，查詢補充品標籤資料。App 只在你啟動查詢時進行此網路請求；查詢回應會在本機轉為可編輯草稿，並由你確認後才儲存。若查無資料或你拒絕相機權限，仍可手動輸入。
DSLD 服務會依其自身的隱私政策與服務條款處理收到的查詢資料；Verdant 不會將你的補充品紀錄、DRI 個人檔案或 Scan Label 原始影像一併傳送給 DSLD。
4. DRI 個人檔案
若你選擇個人化營養參考值，Verdant 可在本機 UserDefaults 儲存你提供的年齡、性別選項，以及懷孕或哺乳狀態。這些設定用於選取本機 DRI 參考資料，不會傳送至 Verdant 伺服器或 DSLD。你可以在設定中修改；刪除 App 會移除這些本機資料。
5. 本機通知
如果你授予通知權限並建立提醒，Verdant 會使用 Apple 的本機通知功能在你的裝置上發送提醒。提醒設定保存在裝置上。App 不使用推播通知服務來傳送這些提醒；你可在 App 或 iOS 設定中停用或刪除提醒與通知權限。
6. 購買與 Pro 權限
若你購買或還原 Verdant Pro Lifetime，Apple 會處理 App Store 交易；RevenueCat 會作為購買與 entitlement（權限）處理服務，接收處理交易所需的匿名購買／權限資訊。Verdant 使用 RevenueCat 的匿名識別方式，不提供 App 內帳號系統，也不會在本機資料庫另存一份付費旗標。
購買資料由 Apple 與 RevenueCat 依其各自的隱私政策及服務條款處理。Verdant 不會將補充品、營養素或攝取紀錄提供給 RevenueCat 作為廣告或分析用途。
7. 意見回饋與分享
如果你在 App 中主動使用意見回饋功能，App 會預填主題、你輸入的內容、App 版本與 iOS 版本，並開啟由你控制的電子郵件撰寫流程，收件人為 verdantapp.contact@gmail.com。App 不會在你按下寄送前自動傳送郵件；你可以編輯或刪除預填內容。你寄出的內容會由電子郵件服務依其政策處理；請勿在不必要時加入敏感健康資訊。
當你主動使用 PDF／CSV 匯出或系統分享功能時，檔案會在裝置上產生，並由你選擇分享目的地。離開 App 後，檔案如何保存或分享由你與接收服務負責。
8. 我們不做的事
Verdant 不販售你的補充品或攝取紀錄，不使用廣告，不以跨 App 追蹤為目的收集資料，也不提供醫療診斷、治療、處方或劑量建議。App 目前沒有由 Verdant 提供的自有雲端同步、雲端資料庫、跨裝置帳號或託管 AI 服務；但 Apple 裝置備份／iCloud 備份可能依你的 iOS 設定保存 App 資料，該服務由 Apple 控制並依 Apple 政策處理。
9. 保存期限與刪除
你在 App 中建立的資料會保留在裝置上，直到你在 App 內編輯或刪除、清除 App 資料，或刪除 App。Scan Label 的影像與原始 OCR 文字在該次處理結束或流程取消後即不再保留；你主動儲存的補充品圖片則依前述補充品資料一併保留。若 Apple 備份包含 App 資料，刪除裝置上的 App 或資料不一定會立即移除既有備份；你須依 Apple 的備份管理工具刪除備份，且從備份還原可能再次帶回資料。已匯出的檔案不由 Verdant 管理，請在檔案所在的 App 或服務中刪除。
由於目前沒有 Verdant 帳號或雲端資料庫，Verdant 沒有一份可代你遠端刪除的個人資料帳戶。若你需要協助，請寄信至 verdantapp.contact@gmail.com；請說明問題，但不要寄送不必要的敏感健康資料。
10. 兒童
Verdant 並非特別以兒童為對象。我們不會明知收集兒童的個人資料。若你認為兒童不當提供了資料，請透過下方信箱聯絡我們。
11. 政策變更
如果資料處理方式或 App 功能有重大變更，我們會更新本頁並調整生效日期。你繼續使用更新後的 Verdant，即表示你已閱讀更新內容。

Verdant Privacy Policy
Verdant (the “App,” “we,” or “us”) is developed and operated by an independent developer. It is a local-first iPhone app for tracking supplements and nutrients. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Verdant.
1. Information you create in the App
You may create or store supplement names, brands, forms, serving sizes, nutrient details, notes, daily intake records, timestamps, reminder settings, and summaries or trends derived from those records. This information is primarily stored on your device to provide tracking, reminders, review, and export features.
2. Scan Label, camera, and photos
Only when you actively choose Scan Label and select the camera or a photo through Photos Picker does the App receive that scan input. The image and raw OCR text are held transiently in memory for on-device text recognition and barcode/label parsing. They are not saved to Core Data, UserDefaults, analytics records, or a server, and are not uploaded to a hosted AI service.
You must review, edit, and confirm a parsed result before it can become supplement data that you choose to save. You may deny camera access or use manual entry instead; denying access does not affect other features.
This is different from a supplement image that you actively select during manual supplement entry and save with the supplement. A saved supplement image is retained locally as part of that supplement until you remove or replace the image, delete the supplement, or delete the App.
3. Barcode/UPC and NIH DSLD lookup
If you actively use barcode scanning and data prefilling, Verdant sends the scanned barcode/UPC to services associated with the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD) to look up supplement label information. The App makes this network request only when you start the lookup; the response is turned into an editable draft on your device and is saved only after your confirmation. If no result is available or you deny camera access, you can still enter the supplement manually.
DSLD handles query information under its own privacy policy and terms. Verdant does not send your supplement records, DRI profile, or original Scan Label image to DSLD.
4. DRI profile
If you choose to personalize nutrient reference values, Verdant may store the age, sex option, and pregnancy or lactation status you provide in local UserDefaults. These settings select local DRI reference data; they are not sent to a Verdant server or DSLD. You can change them in Settings, and deleting the App removes this local data.
5. Local notifications
If you grant notification permission and create a reminder, Verdant uses Apple’s local notification capability to deliver the reminder on your device. Reminder settings are stored on the device. The App does not use a push-notification service for these reminders. You can disable or delete reminders and notification permission in the App or iOS Settings.
6. Purchases and Pro access
If you purchase or restore Verdant Pro Lifetime, Apple processes the App Store transaction. RevenueCat processes the anonymous purchase and entitlement information needed to provide purchase and entitlement handling. Verdant uses RevenueCat’s anonymous identity approach; there is no in-App account system, and the App does not store a separate payment flag in its local database.
Apple and RevenueCat handle purchase information under their respective privacy policies and terms. Verdant does not provide your supplement, nutrient, or intake records to RevenueCat for advertising or analytics.
7. Feedback and sharing
If you actively use the in-App feedback feature, the App prepopulates the subject, your entered message, the App version, and the iOS version, then opens an email composition flow that you control, addressed to verdantapp.contact@gmail.com. The App does not send the message before you choose to send it; you can edit or remove the prepopulated content. Email services handle the message under their policies; please do not include sensitive health information unless necessary.
When you actively export a PDF or CSV or use the system share sheet, the file is generated on your device and you choose the destination. After it leaves the App, you are responsible for how the file is stored or shared.
8. What we do not do
Verdant does not sell your supplement or intake records, use advertising, or collect data for cross-app tracking. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or dosage advice. The App currently has no Verdant-operated cloud sync, cloud database, cross-device account, or hosted AI service. Apple device or iCloud backups may nevertheless retain App data according to your iOS settings; Apple controls that service under Apple’s policies.
9. Retention and deletion
Information you create in the App remains on your device until you edit or delete it in the App, clear the App’s data, or delete the App. Scan Label images and raw OCR text are no longer retained when that processing ends or is cancelled; a supplement image you actively save is retained with that supplement as described above. If Apple backups include App data, deleting the App or device data may not immediately remove an existing backup; use Apple’s backup management tools to delete it, and note that restoring a backup can restore the data. Exported files are not managed by Verdant; delete them in the app or service where they are stored.
Because Verdant currently has no Verdant account or cloud database, there is no personal account data that Verdant can remotely delete on your behalf. For help, contact verdantapp.contact@gmail.com. Please describe the issue without sending unnecessary sensitive health information.
10. Children
Verdant is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us at the address below.
11. Changes to this policy
If our data practices or App features materially change, we will update this page and its effective date. Your continued use of an updated Verdant means you have reviewed the changes.
